LAKE TITICACA CLASSIC BOAT EXCURSION FULL DAYThe Lake Titicaca is the highest navigable lake in the World at 3856 metres above sea level, it is bigger than Switzerland. Its shores and islands, such as Amantani and Taquile, are home to the Aymaras and Quechuas, who are amongst Peru’s oldest peoples, predating the Incas by a thousand years. Here visitors may wander through old traditional villages where Spanish is a second language and where ancient myths and beliefs still hold true. Our program also includes the visit to the famous Uros Floating Islands. Our tour is led by a local guide who will introduce you its inhabitants and will explain about their history and traditions. Here we will take a nice ride on their little handmade reed boats around the floating villages. |

LAKE TITICACA CLASSIC HOMESTAY TOUR 2D – 1NThis is a classic program that involves the best attractions of the Lake Titicaca. Our 2 days program includes the visit to the Uros floating Islands, a small community that has lived on these reed Islands for decades. This journey will take us also to the Amantani Island, an Andean community where is possible to climb to the summit of one of the hills to enjoy a great sunset, learn to dance Andean music in an evening party with the islanders and spend the night in a rural house provided by a native family. Our journey on the Lake Titicaca ends with the visit to the Taquile Islands, a traditional quechua speaking community, full of ancient agricultural terraces and some ruins dating back to the pre-Inca times. |

CLASSIC BOAT TOUR TO THE UROS REED ISLANDSVisit the famous floating islands of the Lake Titicaca, a gorgeous village located a few minutes away from the city of Puno, right on the waters of the Lake Titicaca. Here you will learn about the life of the Uros people, their history and traditions. Venture on this fantastic journey and meet a people considered one of the first ethnic groups populating the Andean region, predating the Incas for hundreds of years. Here our local guide will show you the most relevant places and will explain about their ancient techniques of fishing and hunting. We include on our program a nice ride on their little handmade- reed boats around the islands. At the zone you will also be able to buy beautiful handicrafts elaborated by the Uros women. |

SILLUSTANI ANCIENT BURIAL TOWERSGet off the beaten track and visit one of the archaelogical gems of the Altiplano. The Sillustani burial site is an amazing complex made up by huge cilindrical tombs where the Pukara Culture used to bury their elite. It is said the Incas conquered them in the XV century and continued building theses graves improving the technique. Nowadays it is still possible to obeserve well preserve tombs including some carving icons. This program also offer a magnificent scenary as the complex was built near a gorgeous lake called Umayo, a nice spot still venerated by the local people. Our trip also includes the visi to some local farmers who plant mainly potatoes and breed guinea pigs. |
